During the commemoration, a number of speakers, including the historian Beno Hofman, will talk about the events that took place in 1938, and also draw a comparison to contemporary forms and manifestations of discrimination in the Netherlands and abroad. Then there will be a torchlight procession held by the city of Groningen.
