At Home in Europe Project, OSF

Hate speech is the first step in the rise of political extremism and unfortunately in the Europe of today it is becoming common place. Hate is irrational and starts by focusing on one group and along the way it targets others. No one is safe from its insidious and poisonous effects. Some people may think it's not their role to stand up against it. It is everybody's responsibility to combat racist and xenophobic actions and speech because if we don't, it will infect all in society in some shape or form. Supporting UNITED and the International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism means you are taking a stand as to what you want your society to be.
